Where do I start?

Visit our display home to see for yourself, the high standard of quality and attention to detail that is Homes by DJ Jones. If the display home design does not suite what you are looking for, our design consultant can help you with other design options that will suit your lifestyle, wants, needs and budget.

Can I make changes or custom design my home?

Yes absolutely! We have an in-house design team and offer this service to our clients at no additional cost. We work with you to design the perfect home - whether you want to modify one of our designs or completely start from scratch to design a home to fit your individual lifestyle and needs.

How Long will it take to build my home?

Our average build time is only 16 weeks – however, some variables such as the size and complexity of your design as well as site and weather conditions may alter this time-frame.

Do you build on sloping sites?

Yes we do! It is important to note that building on a sloping site may increase costs. Our design team can help with a cleverly designed custom design so as to reduce cost, optimize views and take full advantage of prevailing breezes.

So that you can make an informed decision, we recommend that you speak with us before purchasing a sloping block so we can inspect the site and advise on requirements and expected additional costs to achieve the best outcome

Can I access my home during construction?

We schedule regular site visits so you can see the progress of your home. We are flexible and happy to accommodate additional visits, however, for safety reasons, you will need to be accompanied by our project manager.

How long have you been operating?

David has been building homes for over 20 years. First as a sole trader then as company trading as Pandamus.

Are you a franchise?

No, we are a local 4th generation family building company.

Do we work with the Builder or just a Sales Person?

When you build with Homes by DJ Jones you work with and have the support of the whole team. Being a family business, we are a small team each with their individual area of expertise. David is very hands on and involved throughout the whole process.

Is David a builder or does he just own a construction company?

David is a fully qualified and licensed carpenter/builder with an extensive knowledge of the building industry. This knowledge has been gained through years of experience and to this day David is still very hand-on with the tools overseeing every aspect of the build.

Does it Cost More for a Custom Design?

Some builders will charge more for the luxury of a custom design – BUT NOT US! At Homes by DJ Jones there is no extra charge or no difference in the price between choosing and building one of our standard designs, or working with our in-house design team to custom design your perfect home.The beauty of a custom design is that it allows you to create something unique that truly represents your style and suits what you want and need in your home.
